About this Artwork

There is an infinite wisdom in the natural world, but nature seldom speaks up for itself. With this illustration I wanted to express how sacred nature is, and how even tiny creatures can be viewed as saints. The black eyes of the frog contain the wisdom of the deep waters it swims in. It is a wisdom of the body, where no words are needed. And it's body holds a flexibility that leaves even the most nimble of humans in awe.
