In the readings that I offer, I use tools such as tarot or runes in order to bring forth additional perspectives for you to consider on a chosen issue or situation that you are experiencing. The spreads I use are based on transformational processes I have experienced in my own life, and my intention is to offer these readings as a way to enable the type of guidance that I have received through these spreads to be channelled onwards to others who might have use of it.

This is a remote reading that can be done in one of the following ways:

When you purchase the reading, please write some information about your situation/ issue into the notes at checkout. I will then choose a suitable deck and spread based on the information you have shared. If there is a particular spread that you would like me to use, please write that out too. After placing the purchase, you will receive the reading within 5 working days. 

A reading with 5-7 cards can be seen as a focused view into an area of your choice, and it is not as in-depth as a 9-12 card reading. The reading focuses on a chosen issue or situation and presents a starting point for considering your own view and approach from a different vantage point, by comparing your own view of the issue with the statements of the cards. See the descriptions below for a few suggested spreads for a reading with 5-7 cards.

Garden Spread
The garden spread looks at what is growing, what is withering, and what is germinating and seeding in your life, and offers advice for tending the garden. This reading is particularly useful for contemplating creativity but can also be used for a more general reading about what is growing, withering and germinating in life overall.

This reading is based on a series of visions I had where I witnessed the changes going on in my life, and in the use of my creative capabilities, through the metaphor of a garden. By viewing the state of my inner garden, I could more concretely observe what aspects of my life were withering or growing, and in what way. This then allowed me to consider alternative ways of tending to these areas in my life.

Tower spread
The Tower reading is based on a series of visions I had while going through massive transformation. It is also loosely based on the Tower card, which stands for a time of great upheaval: it can be a breakthrough, a breakdown or both. This reading has some similarities with the garden reading, but is more focused on the moment of being in the midst of a powerful burst of transformation, like a lightning bolt strike, while the garden reading has a more long-term view, as gardening often takes planning and time.

In the Tower reading, we contemplate the current shape of your Tower, and how you are relating to it. The Tower here can symbolize either the overall structure and stability of your life, or a chosen aspect you wish to focus on: a job, a creative pursuit, a life situation, a partnership. Regardless of which aspect you focus on, the Tower functions as a metaphor for the effort you have made at creating some kind of a structure or foundation in your life. By contemplating the state of the tower and your relation to it, the idea is that you can gain understanding about what the foundation is based upon. Is it a truly stable foundation? Is it a foundation that supports what you want to create, or do you actually want this particular tower to fall? The Tower card is dramatic, but also brings its own kind of hope. In the midst of the rubble of an already fallen tower, is the opportunity to completely reimagine how you want the foundation of your life to be and build something entirely new in its place.

Narrative spread
The Narrative spread is inspired by the dramatic structure and role designations, and by the idea that we often enact stories and myth in our daily lives. In the narrative spread, we draw cards for different roles (victim/issue, antagonist, protagonist/shadow, guide and gift) in order to contemplate your life through the lens of drama, and through these archetypal roles. What is the story you are currently living? What characters are inhabiting the stage? We don’t necessarily consider the cast of characters as representations of external individuals in your life, but rather see them as different sides within you, each wanting to make their voices heard. Through this spread, they are brought to the surface, so that you can consider the different statements and tensions within you.
